CapBlock® Totalshield Powder is an exceptionally effective clean-label mould and antibacterial inhibitor, formulated as the ultimate anti-microbial all-rounder for food preservation and shelf life extension. Produced from a proprietary blend of buffered vinegars and botanical extracts, it shields your product all round — with no negative effect on flavour or aroma — and is propionic acid free.

CapBlock® Totalshield Powder contains a natural botanical source of ascorbic acid combined with buffered vinegars, resulting in a super-strong anti-microbial and anti-bacterial inhibitor. It is formulated to increase product shelf-life and reduce spoilage due to yeast, mould, listeria, and gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria — a broad spectrum of protection from a single clean-label ingredient.

CapBlock® Totalshield Powder can replace potassium sorbate and other chemical additives, declared simply as “Buffered Vinegar, Botanical Extracts” with no E-number. It is used across baked goods, all meats, snacks, bars, tortillas, plant-based meat, cheeses, salad dressings, sauces, condiments, dips and spreads — and is non-GMO, gluten-free, allergen-free, vegan, and FSSC 22000 certified.
